SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

At VICTRESS® Social responsibility and sustainability is important to us. VICTRESS® makes a strong commitment towards reducing waste, protecting the environment, and producing our clothing and goods as sustainably as possible.

We demand good quality fabrics and quality finishings, and we are wiling to pay a fair price to ensure that the people who make our garments are looked after. We source from companies that are part of the Amfori Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) and who undertake regular visits and audits of the factories to ensure our clothing is made ethically, appropriate wages are paid, and the health and safety of workers is maintained.

The cotton used in our products is through the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), an initiative to make it safer for those producing it and better for the environment it grows in. BCI aims to transform cotton production worldwide by developing Better Cotton as a sustainable mainstream commodity by reducing the environmental impact of cotton production. The cotton used is a mix of Australian and Indian cotton.

100% of our tees and tanks are certified by OEKO-TEX® Standard 100. This certification ensures that products are free from chemicals and other dangerous substances. The certification is designed to ensure the effect the dyeing industry has on the environment is minimised and the garments are safe for consumers as well as the people who make them.
